Obama - Taking Guns is a Conspiracy

  1. Watch as King Obama freaks the fuck out about gun nuts and their conspiracy theories.

Oh, and "errybody hunts down there"

  2. Literally all he did was spout shit that's already illegal as examples for why we should make other things illegal, throw out some nonsense hypotheticals, race bait a little, and say that anyone who doesn't agree with him is a conspiracy nut.

He embarrassed himself, but the good thing is he fucked his party over.

  3. Oh, just because he said, "this isn't a conspiracy to take all your guns away." I'm supposed to believe him?

There is no compromise with his purely evil agendas. There is only defending your rights.

Every time someone cries, BUT THINK ABOUT THE CHILDREN!

You know they are spouting complete and utter bullshit.

  4. I think Anderson dropped the ball on this, and he said so himself on the "aftershow". He said he wanted to ask him about why people have a fundamental distrust of him specifically, and by extension, the government. I would've loved to see him seriously answer that question without grouping up people who feel that way with others who think there is a vast conspiracy. I also got a kick out of his "websites" comments. Oh, like it's a big problem Americans are speaking their mind.

  5. So the critics are weighing in, and even these CNN talking heads are calling Obama's chat as completely divisive. Side note, I would screw S.E. Cupp silly.

  6. Rape survivor Kimberly Weeks Corban questions Obama about making victims less safe.

“As a survivor of rape and now a mother of two small children it seems like being able to purchase a firearm of my choosing and being able to carry that wherever me and my family are. My basic responsibility is as of a parent at this point. I have been unspeakably victimized once already. I refuse to let that happen again to myself or my kids. So why can’t your administration see that these restrictions you’re putting to make it harder for me to own a gun or make it harder for me to take that where I need to be is actually making my kids and I less safe.”

  7. @Confused Spectator spot on assessment. I for the life of me can't understand how a President can sit there and completely denigrate Americans who disagree with his views. I think Hugh Hewitt was right - people have a legitimate concern and it is not a conspiracy considering his past illegal executive actions.

  8. My blood is boiling right now. Did anyone see that cop try to challenge him on crime? Obama basically said, well who care we are always going to have crime, so what's your point cop? Really? The point is that cops don't show up until after some bad shit happens to gather evidence and start an investigation. If you make it difficult for law abiding citizens to get guns, then all you are doing is taking away the ability of a citizen to protect and defend their life, liberty, and property.

  9. I grew up not fearing guns or people who owned guns. I enjoyed shooting skeet with my shotgun as a kid. However, now being antigun is a big deal. And owning a gun is frowned apon by the youth where I live. And its sad because its a right that was given to us all. For our protection. And the irony is that people are arguing for the right to restrict gun ownership.
Sad times for America. Sad times.

  10. I've been thinking how I would respond to the video for some time now. Should I shake my fist? Shall I wag my finger and say "No, Mr. President"? I keep coming back to article 6, section 2 of our beloved constitution, which enumerates the power of the document as the supreme law of the land. The grounds for impeachment based on his felonious executive actions regarding gun control are there. Clear and present to anyone who believes in this document. To anyone who has ever served. To anyone who believes in this democratic republic, which, I'm sure I haven't remind any patriot associated with this site, is the greatest feat of social experimentation in human history. The power this president holds comes not from God, nor does it come from status....but from the people. The people. We elect our representatives to represent us. This man is no different. Shall we acquiesce and go quietly along with his "common sense approach" to infringe on our rights given to us by birth? My humble and most honest answer is no. We, the people are the true power in this country.

  11. After watching all of the videos, it appears that this is Obama's strategy for gun control:

  12. The Supremacy Clause, if only more people actually read the very document and developed an understanding of it. We would be living in a very different place.

This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in pursuance thereof; and all treaties made, or which shall be made, under the authority of the United States, shall be the supreme law of the land; and the judges in every state shall be bound thereby, anything in the constitution or laws of any state to the contrary notwithstanding.

As a side note, I love when people tell me that something is "unconstitutional" and I ask them "what section of the Constitution backs up their claim"? Deer in the headlights every single time.

  13. The Constitution was an awesome document meant to have the powers of government constantly combating itself. It was the answer to authoritarianism but few people currently understand it. It's meant to be very hard to change unless the public is essentially unanimous. Those things are now starting to break down as some of the founders expected. The supreme court will, in the future, completely flip the balance and we'll have an authoritarian socialist state. The supreme court is not doing it's job as a regulator of congress and the president and it will just get worse in the future.

The constitution is great, if we actually followed it... Liberals do not understand that all the new powers they want the government to have will eventually be in the hands of their enemy.
  14. I was born and raised in Alabama and learned to shoot when I was a LITTLE kid. I've always maintained a high level of safety and respect when handling firearms, as all people should. The problem is, people who have never handled a firearm are the ones who, all too often, speak out against them! I don't leave a negative review for a restaurant I have never eaten at, so why do these anti-gun crusaders feel empowered to restrict Constitutional rights that they themselves have never exercised? Their arguments reflect the definition of hypocrisy.

  15. The whole point is, if no one has guns, then you don't need a gun to protect yourself from someone with a gun!

I know that is simplified, but you get the point.

Also, if you carry one, you intend to use it. Not everyone who pisses you off deserves to die! Even someone who tries to rob you, it hardly justifies shooting.

I can't imagine living in a country where people carried guns, I'd live my life in fear.
  16. @openmind, we have places in the states that for all intents and purposes have no guns. And a fairly large population that see firearms as you do. Now, California is one of those states. And not too long ago, 14 people died. 14 people died in a state with the strictest gun control laws we have in the country. I'm sure they would have had no objection to someone with a concealed carry permit. Guns save lives. But the MSM rarely shows those stories. Our second amendment right protects all of our others from being stripped away completely. Our second amendment isn't for hunting, or sporting, it's to keep our government in check. We have over 320 million weapons in this country. That translates to about 90 firearms per 100 people. And we had last year just over 8000 gun murders. That means you have a 0.000025 percent chance to be shot and killed. Also that number is as high as it is because the places in the United States that have the highest murder rate also have the strictest gun control laws generally speaking. Referring to your point about carrying a weapon. I open carry in my state. Which is 100% legal. I never, never want to discharge my firearm, ever. I don't want to have to take someone's life. However, I have a family. Nothing is going to stop me from seeing them again. My second amendment is in place so I have a fighting chance. The last point I'll make is that you shouldn't be fearful to live here. Americans aren't to bad once you get to know a few. :)
